Hello from the Hunts!
In 2019, we decided to work remotely and homeschool in the Ozark foothills. Four years later, a lot is happening on our three hillside acres.
We raise pigs, sheep, rabbits, chickens, ducks and bees. We planted a native wildflower meadow in the yard and a young woodland by the creek, making us a Certified Wildlife Habitat site. Since our land is becoming a place of hospitality, solitude and play, we built a treehouse between two 100-year-old oaks for others to enjoy.
Buy our farm-raised pork.
Buy rabbits, bred and raised by our eleven-year-old son.
Next year, we will likely sell lambs too.

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of Heaven’s Armies… Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar… What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord… When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. Psalm 84
From a salamander creek in a dappled shade ravine to a sunny hillside pasture with a meadow in between.
