>Wouldn’t it be terrible to work at a landfill? It is so much better to just pretend they’re not there.
. . . please sense my sarcasm. We need to live in a way that takes care of the earth. (I live on Staten Island- (New York City’s garbage dump until 1997. The landfill here can be seen from outer space).
>Actually, one of the attendants at the Farmington recycling center and landfill is a really great guy! A lot of fun to chat with him.
>I drive by a giant landfill everyday on my way to work. They do a good job of hiding it with a berm, but I can see the tractors pushing junk and dirt around and the scavenger birds surrounding it. I think it looks pretty gross. My "I prefer to pretend they do not exist" solution was completely sarcastic. People need to reduce their waste output.
>How are you, Ken? It's nice to hear from someone in NH. 🙂 I'm glad the nice man at the Farmington center is so happy.
